On May 6, 2026, Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group (Petrovietnam) officially held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint Mr. Cao Hoai Duong to the position of Deputy General Director of the Group.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong is a familiar face of Vietnam's oil and gas industry as he once held the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) and has many years of experience in the field of energy business management, oil and gas trade and transforming business models towards modernization.
This appointment takes place in the context that Petrovietnam is promoting its transformation strategy from a traditional oil and gas corporation to the "National Energy - Industry Group" model, expanding to LNG, gas power, renewable energy, hydrogen, energy logistics and new industrial value chains.
