PVSM Organizes "Journey of Gratitude and Aspiration" Program at Vạn Tường Commune

In commemoration of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947-2026), the Youth Union and Veterans Association of PVSM - a subsidiary of Petrovietnam - collaborated to organize a program titled "Journey of Gratitude and Aspiration" at Vạn Tường Commune, Quảng Ngãi Province.



Background and Significance of the Program

July 27th is an annual occasion for the entire nation to express gratitude for the significant contributions made by previous generations who sacrificed their blood and lives for the independence and freedom of the country. The "Journey of Gratitude and Aspiration" program organized by PVSM not only serves as an activity to encourage and visit families of policy, war invalids, and martyrs but also provides an opportunity for the younger generation to continue revolutionary traditions, promote patriotic spirit, and nurture aspirations for national development.



Main Activities in the Program

The program featured numerous meaningful activities that demonstrated PVSM's deep respect for families who contributed to the revolution. Notable activities included:



  • Visiting and presenting gifts to policy families, war invalids, and martyrs' families in Vạn Tường Commune
  • Organizing a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the commune's Martyrs' Memorial

Details of Gratitude Activities

Within the framework of the program, PVSM's working delegation visited and presented gifts to 50 policy families, war invalids, and martyrs' families in Vạn Tường Commune. Each gift consisted of material items and cash, expressing PVSM's profound concern for the livelihood of these families.



Mr. Nguyen Van A, Chairman of the PVSM Veterans Association, shared: "We are always aware that today's achievements are thanks to the blood and sacrifices of previous generations. Therefore, caring for policy families is not only our responsibility but also the deep gratitude of PVSM's younger generation."



Heritage and Tradition Education Activities

At the Martyrs' Memorial in Vạn Tường Commune, the delegation organized a solemn wreath-laying ceremony, showing respect and gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the national liberation cause. Subsequently, the delegation visited local historical relics and listened to stories about the heroic exploits of Vạn Tường's soldiers and people in various resistance wars against foreign invaders.



Ms. Tran Thi B, Deputy Secretary of the PVSM Youth Union, stated: "Through heritage activities, we hope PVSM's younger generation will better understand the nation's glorious history, thereby gaining more motivation to strive and contribute to the development of the company and the country."
