Nui Phao mine in Thai Nguyen province - operated by Masan High-Tech Materials (stock code MSR) - has just recorded a very important development when contractor GAET was licensed to use industrial explosives. This is a key legal condition to exploit an additional 28 million tons of ore in the newly approved additional reserve area. 
This is one of the largest polymetallic tungsten mines in the world outside of China, with total approved reserves of about 83.2 million tons of ore. In addition to tungsten, the mine also contains fluorspar, copper and bismuth - minerals with high strategic value in high-tech industry. 
Being allowed to exploit additional 28 million tons of ore is of great significance:
1. Significantly increase the mining life of the mine.
2. Increase production from the second half of 2026.
3. Directly benefit from rising global tungsten prices.
4. Strengthen Vietnam's position in the strategic minerals supply chain.
MSR's business results are making a strong breakthrough:
