On May 18, 2026, the Quynh Lap LNG Thermal Power Plant project officially started construction in Nghe An with a total investment capital of about 59,372 billion VND (more than 2.2 billion USD). This is one of the largest LNG gas power projects in the North Central region, invested by a joint venture of PV Power, NASU and SK Innovation (Korea).
