If Vietnam takes a central position in the global offshore wind power supply chain, will the traditional oil and gas industry have to give way to a new "green gold mine" worth tens of billions of dollars?
Offshore wind power is no longer a story of the future. Right now, Vietnam has businesses directly participating in the global supply chain and PTSC is emerging as a locomotive bringing dozens of domestic businesses to the international playing field.
At the Asia-Pacific Wind Energy Conference APAC Wind Energy Summit 2026, a representative of PTSC said that the business not only manufactures offshore wind power stands for the European and Taiwanese markets but also involves nearly 100 Vietnamese enterprises to join the production ecosystem.
The most notable thing is not the number of contracts but the industrial capacity being formed in the country.
